The course provides an overview of the legislative requirements for hazardous area installations; an introduction to explosion protected equipment, and how to interpret hazardous area classification drawings and equipment markings.
Hazardous areas are found across industries including, hydrocarbon, oil and gas, petroleum, transportation, processing, refining, storing and food processing where dusts are present, mining, pharmaceuticals and anywhere there is a risk of combustible dusts, gases and vapours.

Entry Requirements:
To successfully complete this course, you will need to have proficiency in reading and typing in English, as well as basic computer skills.
This course is fully online so you will need to have access to a computer, tablet or phone and have an email address to complete your registration.
